Where did October go?

October has just flown by. Country Fair is over and was a great success. Check out the great booth we had here . Carolina was fun, we saw a lot of great things. Reynolda House was very interesting. This compound was built on the back of tobacco, which is still very important to the areas economy. We then ventured to Old Salem I love historic things so this was wonderful :) You have to eat at the Old Salem Taven if you ever get there. They have the best gingerbread with lemon ice cream, Yummy. Then we went to Trade Street in Winston Salem. It is a cute art district, we did some shopping and eating there. Next we went to Mabry Mill in Virgina, about a hour away from my sisters place. They have famous sweet potatoe pancakes, the wait was over an hour. The mill and some other buildings have been restored. You can walk around the compound while you wait. We did some more shopping in their gift store also. It is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the drive was very beautiful with ...
