 This is one of the crazy little things that really bring me joy.  I love Pantone!  To me it helps to stretch my creative muscle and reach out of the box a little.  Along with checking to see what is trending as far as design ideas, using color lets you make it your own.  I had hoped to get some new pieces made today but instead I worked on my iMovie skills.  Thanks for stopping by, leave a comment and let me know what you want to see here.  

It has been a very busy couple of weeks, all of the driving to the city and my mom's visit I feel like I have fallen behind. The garden is in real need of weeding and we have not had much rain lately, unlike June lol so watering is on the list. It also seems like after the 4th of July we have to start thinking about getting ready for winter. That probably seems strange to most of you, but when you heat your home with wood you have to have alot cut and ready. So even though it's still very hot here we are thinking of the cold months of winter. This weekend is going to be beautiful for the market. Have a great day !

We had really wonderful weather is past week. This winter has been long and cold so we really wanted to get out of the house and do something outside. Madison was our destination, during the demonstrations :(. This had been planned before all of the uproar at the Capital. We thought about changing our plans, in the end we decided to chance it. Madison's Children's Museum is someplace we have wanted to go to for a while now. Last year we took a field trip to the Discovery Center Museum in Rockford , and really loved it. Madison also has a cute free zoo, Henry Vilas Zoo . that we enjoy visiting.

We where hit with a blizzard earlier this week, and are finally dug out. Just in time for the storm that is headed our way this weekend lol The first 3 pictures are of our "drive way" the snow on the sides are well over 2ft. The last picture is on the road near my house the side drift is over my head. Spring can not come too early this year :)

We have been hit with two strong storms in the last week. Lots and lots of snow, I think we might be up to 10" or more right now. The wind chill is -25. The studio is warming up and I am going to go and create beads today. With all the wind the turbine is turning non stop now. I can't believe x-mas is 4 days away. I am all done shopping, Willow is the only one we shop for anyways. Everyone else gets gift cards. Luckly our family doesn't exchange gifts with the adults, only the kids. So that makes it easier. We are going to my sister in law's this year so we didn't even put up a tree or do any decorating. I will be happy when the holidays are over, I practically overdosed on cookies yesterday. Although the night before last we went in a park in Dubuque that had great decorations. Here are a couple of pictures. I will take pictures when we are at Tamra's house.

We are in the middle of a snow storm right now. They say we could get up to eight inches :( One good thing it is windy so the windmill is turning which I hope will help with our energy bills. Our propane bill cane and it was 907.00 that is for just one fill. Crazy !! we are burning as much wood as we can. They say it is going to be worse than last year. I am so not ready for this yet. Stay warm I am off to the studio.
