2009 is coming to an end. I have tried many new things had many great experiences. I hope that 2010 is full of more of the same. This past year has been a year of moving out of my comfort zone. Have you discovered a hidden talent in yourself. Make 2010 the year you explore it. I want to thank all of the artistic people I have "meet" on and off line, you touch my art more than you know. Have a Happy and safe new year!

This is a great site I have found and would like to share with you guys. Where Women Create has a magazine, newsletter, blog and great links to creative women all over. The magazine profiles a womans creative space. Showing how the artist moves through the creative process along with tackling storage problems and paper work. I am going to be moving my "studios" into one location this spring and have loved looking at how other women use their spaces. If you are just starting up a studio or redoing one this site and magazine is a must.

I have been busy with custom work and the holidays, now that all of that is done. I have new ideas I will be working on. Great new bead styles and jewelry ideas, look for them later this week.   This is a new style I made for a special order, what do you think? I love it.

This is the best !! 2 1/2 to 3 lbs chicken 1 tsp dried oregano 2 tsp minced garlic 2 TBS butter 1/4 cup lemon red potatoes quarted 1/3 cup italian dressing rub chicken and potatoes with salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic spray crock pot add chicken and 1/3 water add potatoes add italian dressing and lemon cook for 6-8 hours on LOW

Last night was the holiday party for the Bead Divas of Galena great time was had by all. I love being around such creative minds, very inspirating. We where all looking at the Winter issue of Belle Armoire Jewelry . If you are thinking of getting yourself another magazine this is the one to get. Every single project was wonderful! I can't wait to get started. This is the perfect remedy for long dark winter months. With all these great ideas spring will be here before you know it. Jess writes more about this great publication on the Vintaj blog in her daily dialogue .

I have been busy the last week, getting ready for the holidays. We are in the middle of a strong storm system that may have us changing our plans. I have beads ready to go up I just have to take pictures. Hopfully tomorrow :) Check back then.

I have to admit I haven't done much to update my blogs look. A friend of mine gave me a link with some great backgrounds. Here is one of them with tons of free backgrounds. Check it out.

I have finished all of my special orders so I get to play today :) I am going to work my Boro glass. One of the cool things about boro glass is that most of it is striking glass which means it changes color with heat. You never know what color you will get until you are done. Boro Glass history and some info here. Brent Graber is a great glass artist and I was lucky enough to take a class with him.
