Update

This is not going be as detailed as I had hoped but here goes. I have had to think long and hard about our financial situation. The market are doing great now, but after the January I don't have anything coming in. Brian has a good job but it doesn't cover all of our expenses. Last year we were able to get by selling some "extra" cars we had. That is not an option this year. My plan had been to home school Willow and sell my stuff, that is not going to be possible. Last month I was offered a job in a chiropractic office, I thought long and hard about taking it and how that would effect my life. It would mean putting Willow in school and not being able to work on my stuff whenever the mood stuck me. I had to look at what was best for all of us, I am not going to beable to find anything like this in Feb. I will be enrolling Willow in Kindergarden and starting my job sometime the end of this month. I will still do all the markets and shows that I have d...

Spring like weather

We had really wonderful weather is past week. This winter has been long and cold so we really wanted to get out of the house and do something outside. Madison was our destination, during the demonstrations :(. This had been planned before all of the uproar at the Capital. We thought about changing our plans, in the end we decided to chance it. Madison's Children's Museum is someplace we have wanted to go to for a while now. Last year we took a field trip to the Discovery Center Museum in Rockford , and really loved it. Madison also has a cute free zoo, Henry Vilas Zoo . that we enjoy visiting.

Fall and Family

This weekend we ventured off to a fest in Wisconsin, very cute. They had moved a log cabin and rebuilt it plank by plank. It was really nice. The last time they come up my chili was a hit so I made it again, good but a little hotter than last time. My nephew really loved Monkey bread, I usually buy the frozen stuff from the store. This weekend I thought I would make it. I found this recipe online. Big hit but I shortened the baking time to 35min. MONKEY BREAD 4 cans refrigerator biscuits (about 40) 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon 1/2 cup butter 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar, packed 1/2 cup pecans, raisins and/or coconut, if desired Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Pour sugar and cinnamon into a plastic bag and mix. Add biscuit pieces, several at a time; shake to coat well. Place pieces in a buttered tube or Bundt pan until all are used. Sp...
