We had a wonderful storm move though our area this morning, yes I know I have been complaining that it rains every market lol. That left us with much cooler temperatures, only a high of 72 degrees today. That had been our low the past week. The air is off and the windows are open. Our garden, lawn and animals are so happy. Beads I made yesterday

A big storm came through our area this morning, so I decided not to go to the market. Even with a tiny bit of rain all of my tags get soaked and need to be replaced. So I am doing things around here today. It not like I am ever without my "list" of things todo lol. I have some beads that I need to recreate and I can always make jewelry. This is the first picture of my new grandson. He looks just like my son when he was born.

Tyler Maurice Roberts was born at 10:20am this morning in Miami Fla. His parents are my son Tyler Chase Roberts and Alicia Addison. All are doing well, I will post pictures as soon I have some.

I had meant to post this earlier but like I said I am a bit behind :). We also had a very strong storm move through early yesterday morning that knocked the power out for 12 hours. It is amazing what you can get done when you don't have tv or the internet to distract you. Here is how I spend my Crafty $ in June, needle felted hat "kit" I have wanted to do this for a while now. I am shifting my focus to fall and winter items at the end of this month. I can't wait to give this a try. I purchased this from Living Felt , Marie has a wonder selection of roving and forms. It has been a very busy couple of weeks, all of the driving to the city and my mom's visit I feel like I have fallen behind. The garden is in real need of weeding and we have not had much rain lately, unlike June lol so watering is on the list. It also seems like after the 4th of July we have to start thinking about getting ready for winter. That probably seems strange to most of you, but when you heat your home with wood you have to have alot cut and ready. So even though it's still very hot here we are thinking of the cold months of winter. This weekend is going to be beautiful for the market. Have a great day !

We love baby chicks here on the farm. Sorry about my lack of posting but it has been a very busy week. My mom's visit went by so quickly, we had activities almost every day. The fireworks where great and we visited her cousin who lives close to here. I am heading out soon to take her back to the "big city". I am staying over night and heading back early tomorrow morning. After a very quick visit to Chicago, we did visit the zoo and get to Whole Foods and the Italian store so it was a successful visit. Another great thing that happened was my visit to Team Blonde they are located in Forest Park at 7442 W. Madison Ave. They are carrying a line of my one of a kind jewelry!!
