New product at the Farmers market

We had good weekend at the farmers market, it was a bit slower than past weekends. I think that might have been because the weather was nice and people wanted to get things done before we got the rain they had predicted. The rain never came however. Ever week I have been trying to add something different to my table. This past week I added Peanut Butter Puppy Treat. Alot of market shoppers bring their dogs out with them. These treats are so easy to make and are all natural and healthy.

Homemade Dog Treat Recipe
Peanut Butter Puppy Poppers
2 cups whole-wheat flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 cup peanut butter (chunky or smooth)
1 cup milk

Preheat oven to 375'F. In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder. In another bowl, mix peanut butter and milk, then add to dry ingredients and mix well. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness and use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Bake for 20 minutes on a greased baking sheet until lightly brown. Cool on a rack, then store in an airtight container. --- This is the original recipe, but I have found the cookies burn easily.

I only baked these for 15 minutes.

Have a great day!
